CBC comedy show comes to Eganville and Fort Coulonge

I’m a latecomer to “Still Standing,” the CBC-TV comedy show that looks at the economies of small towns and the ways residents are re-inventing their hometowns with good humour. It turns out I’ve discovered the show at an opportune time: host Jonny Harris profiled Fort Coulonge on Tuesday, July 5, and his show about Eganville is set to air on Tuesday, July 19. In Eganville, they’re holding a live viewing party at the Eganville Arena (doors open at 7pm on July 19).

You can watch the Fort Coulonge episode now on the CBC website; I expect the Eganville one will be posted after it airs on TV.
