I don’t have a story to go with this photo, alas. I snapped it quickly when I came across Jocko’s Beach Resort in Calabogie while researching a “fall colours” magazine story. I’ve always loved the combination of the bright Muskoka chairs, the autumn leaves, the water and the airplane vapour trail. I know it’s a bit out of season, but I wanted to include it in this Canada 150 photo series because it’s such a typical Eastern Ontario scene.
Throughout July and August 2017, I’ll be posting one photo a day that I’ve taken somewhere across Canada, in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary. Want to see more photos in this series? Click the “Canada 150 photo” text in bold near the top of this post.
