Updated October 13, 2022.
October is the only month that gets its own “fest,” as far as I can tell. And Oktoberfests are so popular that many organizers even jump the gun and hold them in September! You’ll have a keg-full of chances to raise a stein and celebrate German culture and all things beer-related in and around Ottawa in September and October. (Don’t forget to pick a designated driver.)
- Oktoberfest de Repentigny (September 9 to 11, 2022)
- Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest (September 23 to October 15, 2022)
- Beau’s Oktoberfest (Vankleek Hill) (September 22 and 23, 2023)
- Toronto Oktoberfest (September 30 and October 1, 2022)
- Oktoberfest Ladysmith (September 30 and October 1, 2022)
- Bear Mountain Oktoberfest (Bear Mountain, New York) (October 1 to 23, 2022, Saturdays and Sundays, plus Monday, October 10)
- Whiteface Mountain Oktoberfest (Lake Placid) (October 1 and 2, 2022)
- ByWard Oktoberfest (Ottawa) (October 14 and 15, 2022)
- Mini-Oktoberfest, Memorial Farmers’ Market (Kingston) (October 16, 2022)

Don’t forget Cumberland’s Octoberfest 21st. There is always great German food and an oom pah pah band. Check the Cumberland Lions’ page for details.
Thanks, Christine!
